Consultation document

Defra is developing a new set of sustainable development indicators to meet the Government’s commitments to transparency and sustainable development, and carried out an informal consultation for 12 weeks from 24th July to 15th October 2012.

The consultation is now closed.

Responses to the consultation are now being analysed and a report will be published in due course. The new indicators are expected to be introduced in 2013. Further steps will be announced on our SD Scene news webpages and in our monthly e-newsletter.
